Pointe Shoes
The shoes worn by ballet dancers when dancing are similar to ordinary soft-soled exercise shoes, except that the front part of the cloth is glued layer by layer with a special glue to form a hard toe. Shoes are also commonly referred to as "pointe shoes". Therefore, the expression can not only refer specifically to pointe shoes such as ballet shoes, but can also be used to express the meaning of ballet dancers.
