This is a cross in the shape of a cross, which consists of two straight lines, longitudinal and transverse. Among them, the longitudinal lines are longer than the transverse lines, and are divided into upper and lower sections by the transverse lines, with short upper ends and long lower ends. Different platforms display different colors of crosses. Most platforms display white crosses, while some platforms display purple, black or yellow. Except for the black and orange lines on the periphery of the cross depicted by OpenMoji and emojidex platforms, the crosses on other platforms are all solid colors.

The cross used to be a cruel instrument of torture to execute prisoners, and later evolved into a symbol of Christian faith, symbolizing that Jesus was crucified and died, saving sinners and representing love and redemption.
